Project Engineer

Job Summary

Garney Construction is seeking a Project Engineer to serve as a core member of the project management team, supporting field operations and keeping projects on schedule and on budget. This is a strong entry-level opportunity with an industry-leading contractor.

Responsibilities

• Prepare submittals and RFIs.
• Coordinate projects from initiation through closeout.
• Assist with estimating and project setup.
• Support field operations and maintain detailed job cost records.
• Assist with scheduling projects and crews.
• Serve as a point of contact with owners, architects, and engineers.
• Negotiate and purchase materials as needed.

Required Experience

• Degree in civil engineering, construction management, or a related field.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Willingness to travel and work the hours required to ensure project success.
