Project Engineer

Job Summary

Garney is seeking a Project Engineer in Charleston to support project management teams and build foundational experience in construction project delivery.

Responsibilities

• Prepare submittals and requests for information.
• Coordinate project activities from startup through closeout.
• Support material purchasing, estimating, scheduling, field operations, and crew coordination.
• Maintain project records, job cost information, and closeout documentation.
• Communicate professionally with owners, architects, engineers, and other project stakeholders.

Required Experience

• Degree in civil engineering, construction management, or a related discipline.
• Strong organization, planning, and attention-to-detail skills.
• Willingness to travel and work the schedule required by project needs.

Compensation and Benefits

• Base salary starts at $80,000 per year.
