Project Engineer II - Data Center Construction

Job Summary

Mortenson is hiring a Project Engineer II in Pampa, Texas, to support field coordination and project delivery on data center construction work.

Responsibilities

• Interpret plans and specifications for subcontractors and craft workers, and coordinate field issues with project participants.
• Support quality planning, inspections, testing, permits, and construction records.
• Administer contract documents, RFIs, correspondence, and submittals, coordinating reviews and approvals with the project schedule.
• Maintain project logs and reports, support closeout and as-built updates, and help coordinate safety, compliance, and schedule completion.
• Mentor field engineers and help determine alternate work methods as needed.

Required Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in construction, civil or architectural engineering, or construction management.
• At least three years of related construction experience.
• Current driver’s license, detail orientation, and strong teamwork, communication, initiative, and problem-solving skills.
• Basic understanding of construction law and generally accepted business practices.

Compensation and Benefits

Base pay is $93,400-$126,100, with location-based adjustments for certain listed markets. The role is eligible for Mortenson’s incentive plan.
