Job Summary
Garney is seeking a Project Engineer to support project management and field operations for pipe infrastructure work in Fairfax, Virginia. This entry-level opportunity is designed for a detail-oriented professional who can organize project information and help keep work moving.
Responsibilities
- Prepare submittals and requests for information.
- Coordinate projects from initial setup through closeout.
- Assist with estimating, scheduling, material purchasing, and project planning.
- Maintain project documents, job costs, and other detailed records.
- Support field operations and communicate professionally with owners, architects, engineers, crews, and other project stakeholders.
Required Experience
- Degree in civil engineering, construction management, or a related field.
- Willingness to travel and work the hours needed to support project success.
- Strong organization, planning, and attention to detail.
Compensation and Benefits
- Base salary starts at $80,000 per year.
