Job Summary

Garney is seeking a Project Engineer to support project management and field operations for pipe infrastructure work in Fairfax, Virginia. This entry-level opportunity is designed for a detail-oriented professional who can organize project information and help keep work moving.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare submittals and requests for information.
  • Coordinate projects from initial setup through closeout.
  • Assist with estimating, scheduling, material purchasing, and project planning.
  • Maintain project documents, job costs, and other detailed records.
  • Support field operations and communicate professionally with owners, architects, engineers, crews, and other project stakeholders.

Required Experience

  • Degree in civil engineering, construction management, or a related field.
  • Willingness to travel and work the hours needed to support project success.
  • Strong organization, planning, and attention to detail.

Compensation and Benefits

  • Base salary starts at $80,000 per year.
