Job Summary
Garney is seeking a Project Engineer in Sherman, Texas, to support the project management team and help keep pipe construction work organized, documented, and on schedule. This entry-level opportunity is suited to a civil engineering or construction management graduate pursuing project management experience.
Responsibilities
- Prepare submittals and requests for information.
- Coordinate project activities from setup through closeout.
- Support material purchasing, estimating, scheduling, and field operations.
- Maintain project documents, job costs, and detailed records.
- Communicate professionally with owners, architects, engineers, crews, and other project stakeholders.
Required Experience
- Degree in civil engineering, construction management, or a related field.
- Ability to travel and work the hours needed to support project success.
- Strong organization, planning, attention to detail, and communication skills.
Compensation and Benefits
Base salary starts at $80,000.
