Project Engineer Pipe Heavy Civil

Job Summary

Garney Construction is seeking an entry-level Project Engineer to support field and office operations on pipe and heavy civil infrastructure projects. This role serves as a key organizing force within the project management team, handling documentation, coordination, and communication across project stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Prepare submittals and RFIs.
• Coordinate projects from start to finish.
• Assist with estimating and scheduling of projects and crews.
• Handle project setup and closeout.
• Support field operations and maintain detailed job cost records.
• Negotiate and purchase materials as needed.
• Serve as a point of contact with owners, architects, and engineers.

Required Experience

• Degree in civil engineering, construction management, or a related field.
• Willingness to travel and work the hours required for project success.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
