Job Summary
Garney Construction is seeking an entry-level Project Engineer to support field and office operations on pipe and heavy civil infrastructure projects. This role serves as a key organizing force within the project management team, handling documentation, coordination, and communication across project stakeholders.
Responsibilities
- Prepare submittals and RFIs.
- Coordinate projects from start to finish.
- Assist with estimating and scheduling of projects and crews.
- Handle project setup and closeout.
- Support field operations and maintain detailed job cost records.
- Negotiate and purchase materials as needed.
- Serve as a point of contact with owners, architects, and engineers.
Required Experience
- Degree in civil engineering, construction management, or a related field.
- Willingness to travel and work the hours required for project success.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
