Project Engineer - Water/Wastewater

Job Summary

Garney is seeking a Project Engineer in McKinney to support project management and help keep water and wastewater work organized, documented, and on schedule. This entry-level opportunity is suited to a civil engineering or construction management graduate pursuing project management experience.

Project Details

The role supports water and wastewater infrastructure projects, coordinating information among the project team, owners, architects, engineers, and field operations.

Responsibilities

• Prepare submittals and requests for information.
• Coordinate project activities from startup through closeout.
• Support estimating, scheduling, crew coordination, and field operations.
• Assist with material purchasing and negotiations.
• Maintain project records, job costs, and other documentation.
• Communicate professionally with owners and engineers.

Required Experience

• Degree in civil engineering, construction management, or a related discipline.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Willingness to travel and work the hours needed to support project success.
