Job Summary

Garney is seeking a Project Manager to lead water and wastewater construction projects in Brainerd, Minnesota. The role requires prior project management experience in this sector and oversight of project delivery from planning through closeout.

Project Details

This position supports water and wastewater construction work, including project cost control, scheduling, procurement, contract administration, and coordination with owners and field teams.

Responsibilities

• Manage cost forecasts, work-in-progress projections, labor projections, and overall project budgets.
• Direct job site supervisory personnel and coordinate project planning and scheduling.
• Build owner relationships and handle contract negotiations and administration.
• Purchase materials and establish and enforce job site safety expectations.

Required Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering, mechanical engineering, or a related discipline.
• Seven to ten years of construction experience.
• Previous project management experience in water and wastewater construction.
