Project Manager

Job Summary

PCL Construction is hiring a Project Manager for its Civil West team in Tempe, Arizona. This role oversees project delivery from contract administration through commissioning and closeout while supporting safety, quality, cost, and schedule performance.

Responsibilities

• Administer contracts, interpret contract documents, and provide technical project support.
• Develop the project safety plan and promote strong health and safety practices.
• Manage construction execution, budgets, resources, quality, schedules, risks, and opportunities.
• Evaluate value engineering options and maintain relationships with clients and project stakeholders.
• Negotiate subcontracts, purchase orders, revisions, and progress payments while monitoring performance.
• Prepare status reporting and participate in commissioning and project closeout.

Required Experience

• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in engineering, construction management, or a related discipline.
• Five to eight years of progressive construction experience; leadership and mentoring experience preferred.
• Strong knowledge of construction materials, specifications, methods, contracts, codes, safety, and quality management.
• Demonstrated ability to manage project budgets and schedules and build effective stakeholder relationships.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, project management, and scheduling software, with the ability to adopt new technology.
