Project Manager

Job Summary

PCL Construction is seeking a Project Manager in Phoenix to lead complex civil infrastructure work and coordinate project teams, resources, schedules, safety, quality, and financial performance.

Project Details

The role supports water and wastewater, concrete, and heavy civil projects, including work with substantial self-perform operations and potential design-build delivery.

Responsibilities

• Administer contracts and oversee construction execution against design, budget, schedule, resource, and quality requirements.
• Lead project safety planning and promote a strong site safety culture.
• Manage subcontracts, purchase orders, progress payments, project forecasts, risks, opportunities, and stakeholder communications.
• Guide value engineering, design coordination when applicable, commissioning, and project closeout.
• Supervise, coach, train, and mentor project personnel and coordinate trade performance.

Required Experience

• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in engineering, construction management, or a related discipline.
• 10–15 years of progressive construction experience with project leadership responsibilities.
• Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, specifications, codes, contracts, safety, quality, budgeting, scheduling, and risk management.
• Experience leading teams and maintaining relationships with clients, stakeholders, and decision makers.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, project management tools, scheduling software, and construction technology.
