Project Manager

Job Summary

PCL Construction Services, Inc. is seeking a Project Manager for its Florida Buildings Group in Fort Lauderdale. This role provides leadership across project administration, safety, cost, quality, schedule, contract compliance, and stakeholder coordination.

Responsibilities

• Administer contracts and guide technical delivery from construction through commissioning and closeout.
• Develop and implement project safety plans while reinforcing health and safety standards.
• Manage project scope, budget, resources, quality, schedule, risks, and opportunities.
• Prepare performance reporting and oversee subcontracts, purchase orders, revisions, and progress payments.
• Interpret and enforce contract requirements, construction documents, codes, and specifications.
• Support design coordination, constructability reviews, quality audits, and stakeholder communication on design-build work.

Required Experience

• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in engineering, construction management, or a related discipline.
• Five to eight years of progressive construction experience; leadership and mentoring experience is preferred.
• Knowledge of construction materials, methods, specifications, construction law, building codes, safety, and quality practices.
• Strong planning, organization, time management, budgeting, scheduling, and relationship-building skills.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, project management systems, scheduling software, and emerging technology.
