Project Manager

Job Summary

PCL Construction, Inc. is seeking a Project Manager for its Civil West team in Tempe, Arizona. This role provides leadership across contract administration, project controls, safety, quality, and stakeholder coordination.

Responsibilities

• Direct contract administration, technical support, project safety, quality, budget, and schedule performance.
• Evaluate client needs and develop value engineering recommendations related to cost, functionality, and schedule.
• Prepare performance reporting for safety, cost forecasts, and schedule status.
• Negotiate and administer subcontracts, purchase orders, revisions, and progress payments.
• Enforce contract requirements, manage project risks and opportunities, and support commissioning and closeout.

Required Experience

• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in engineering, construction management, or a related discipline.
• Five to eight years of progressive construction experience; leadership and mentoring experience is preferred.
• Knowledge of construction materials, specifications, methods, construction law, building codes, safety, and quality management.
• Strong planning, organization, time management, budget, and scheduling abilities.
• Ability to build effective relationships with clients, stakeholders, and decision makers.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, project management, and scheduling software, with willingness to adopt new technology.
