Job Summary
JE Dunn is seeking a Project Manager 2 to lead the administration and delivery of moderately complex construction projects or defined portions of larger work in Nashville. The role offers autonomy within established authority limits and a path toward Senior Project Manager.
Project Details
This position supports small-project and tenant-improvement construction work, coordinating preconstruction, procurement, field execution, financial management, and closeout activities.
Responsibilities
- Lead project safety practices, subcontractor coordination, buyout, submittals, change management, meetings, pay applications, scheduling, reporting, and closeout.
- Support estimating, scope development, bid packaging, procurement, risk review, and subcontractor selection.
- Manage budgets, forecasts, cost controls, project risks, materials, labor, and schedule mitigation plans.
- Coordinate owners, architects, engineers, subcontractors, vendors, field teams, and internal company resources.
- Prepare project documentation and status reports covering budget, schedule, quality, legal, safety, and profitability.
Required Experience
- Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience.
- At least 7 years of construction management experience.
- Intermediate MS Office, communication, presentation, and Lean process capabilities.
- Advanced proficiency with project management, accounting, construction technology, and scheduling software.
- Valid and unrestricted driver's license required.
- Ability to work non-traditional hours when project needs require it and lift up to 25 pounds.
