Job Summary

Barton Malow Builders is seeking a Construction Safety Manager to support commercial projects throughout the greater Orlando area. The role works with project teams and senior safety leadership to promote a strong safety culture and maintain compliance with OSHA requirements.

Project Details

Projects typically include sports and entertainment venues, healthcare facilities, higher-education work, and large-scale commercial construction.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily site safety inspections and audits, address routine hazards, and escalate complex safety concerns.
• Implement project safety plans, company procedures, and OSHA standards in the field.
• Lead or support safety orientations, meetings, and project leadership discussions.
• Inspect equipment, vehicles, tools, and safety systems while applying competent-person judgment.
• Investigate incidents and prepare related documentation and summaries.

Required Experience

• At least three years of construction safety experience in a comparable position.
• OSHA 30 certification required.
• OSHA 510 certification preferred.
• Ability to travel among project sites across greater Orlando.
