Job Summary

Barton Malow Builders is seeking a construction safety professional or manager to support commercial projects throughout the greater Charlotte area. The role partners with project teams to strengthen jobsite safety performance and maintain compliance with company policies and OSHA requirements.

Project Details

Projects include sports and entertainment venues, healthcare facilities, higher-education work, and large-scale commercial construction in the Charlotte market.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily site safety inspections and audits, addressing routine hazards and unsafe conditions.
• Implement project safety plans, company procedures, and applicable OSHA standards.
• Lead or support safety orientations, meetings, and project leadership discussions.
• Inspect equipment, vehicles, tools, and safety systems while applying competent-person responsibilities.
• Investigate incidents and prepare related documentation and summaries.

Required Experience

• At least three years of construction safety experience in a comparable role.
• OSHA 30 certification required.
• OSHA 510 certification preferred.
• Ability to travel among project sites across greater Charlotte.
