Job Summary

JE Dunn Construction is seeking a Safety Specialist 2 to coordinate and implement field safety programs on routine and increasingly complex construction projects in the Advanced Facilities Group.

Project Details

The Advanced Facilities Group delivers industrial and manufacturing, data center, and semiconductor projects for innovative clients.

Responsibilities

  • Perform site inspections, safety audits, hazard documentation, and corrective-action tracking.
  • Support orientations, safety meetings, committees, incentive programs, and subcontractor safety oversight.
  • Assist with accident investigations, root-cause reviews, injury coordination, and insurance audits.
  • Use safety systems to analyze trends and recommend solutions for recurring project or subcontractor issues.
  • Provide safety guidance and training to project personnel and help oversee complex or multiple projects.

Required Experience

  • At least two years of construction safety experience.
  • Bachelor's degree in safety or a related health field preferred; equivalent relevant experience may be considered.
  • Working knowledge of federal, state, local, and company safety regulations.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, construction technology, and safety software or related internal tools.
  • Strong written and verbal communication, hazard recognition, corrective-action, and collaboration skills.

Compensation and Benefits
