Self-Perform Concrete Superintendent

Job Summary

Lead field construction activities as a self-perform concrete superintendent, coordinating teams and project execution through completion.

Responsibilities

• Manage job schedules, field crews, subcontractor coordination, materials, and quality standards.
• Support site safety, review project documents, conduct meetings, and maintain project reports.
• Coordinate testing, punch lists, closeout, and owner turnover.
• Travel and oversee multiple projects across a broad geographic area as business needs require.

Required Experience

• Degree in engineering, construction management, or architecture, or equivalent experience including four years as an Assistant Superintendent.
• Extensive supervisory field construction experience and working knowledge of construction trades.
• Prior foreman or journeyman experience in at least one trade, or Project Engineer experience.
• Current Safety Trained Supervisor (STS) certification, or ability to obtain it within six months of hire and maintain active status.
• Knowledge of OSHA requirements, scheduling, planning, expediting, and cost control.
