Job Summary

PCL Construction Services, Inc. is seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead complex construction work from preconstruction through completion in Denver. This employee-owned organization offers opportunities to influence project delivery, develop teams, and support clients and trade partners.

Responsibilities

  • Establish project safety, environmental, quality, and execution programs in partnership with the superintendent.
  • Manage client relationships, trade contractor coordination, proposals, estimating participation, and value engineering.
  • Coordinate design reviews, permits, procurement, shop drawings, off-site production, construction, and commissioning activities.
  • Track schedule, cost, staffing, manpower, materials, equipment, quality, safety, and environmental performance.
  • Resolve design, constructability, code, scope, procurement, and interdisciplinary coordination issues.
  • Identify scope gaps and technical risks while maintaining project time, cost, and quality objectives.

Required Experience

  • Postsecondary education or training in engineering, construction management, or a related field.
  • Gold Seal certification (CDN).
  • 15 or more years of progressive construction leadership experience preferred, including experience with multiple contract delivery methods.
  • Estimating or related experience preferred, with strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, specifications, codes, safety, quality, insurance, bonding, and legal requirements.
  • Experience with varied project delivery approaches, construction sequencing, collective agreements, and multi-trade jurisdiction assignments.
  • Strong communication, presentation, resource forecasting, staffing, and problem-solving skills in a fast-paced environment.

Compensation and Benefits

The salary range is $145,000-$188,000 per year, based on experience and qualifications.
