Senior Project Manager- Mixed Use/High Rise Buildings

Job Summary

Lead the management and successful delivery of complex urban high-rise and mixed-use construction projects in New York.

Project Details

The role focuses on new-construction vertical projects exceeding 15 stories, including multifamily and mixed-use buildings. Relevant work includes cast-in-place concrete structures, below-grade foundations and cellars, deep excavation, and earthwork shoring.

Responsibilities

• Direct project teams, resources, execution, schedules, costs, cash flow, and reporting from startup through completion.
• Lead client relationships, project meetings, subcontractor coordination, contract administration, and project turnover.
• Oversee preconstruction, including estimating, design coordination, constructability, permitting, procurement, scheduling, and risk management.
• Establish and monitor project safety, quality, productivity, and cost-control practices.
• Support business development, pursuit decisions, and client and trade-partner relationships.

Required Experience

• Degree or certificate in a construction-related field, or equivalent work experience.
• At least 8 years of construction management experience leading teams on new vertical projects over 15 stories.
• Strong experience with urban high-rise construction, including cast-in-place concrete, deep excavation, and shoring systems.
• Experience in preconstruction, estimating, scheduling, cost control, procurement, contract negotiation, safety, quality, and risk management.
• Familiarity with virtual construction tools such as CMIC and Bluebeam.
• Strong leadership, communication, coaching, and conflict-resolution skills. Established local relationships in Westchester County, New York, or Northern New Jersey are a plus.

Compensation and Benefits

Compensation range: $180,000-$220,000.
