Senior Safety Specialist

Job Summary

JE Dunn is seeking a Senior Safety Specialist in Atlanta to support field safety operations for routine and complex construction work within its Advanced Facilities Group.

Project Details

The Advanced Facilities portfolio includes industrial and manufacturing facilities, data centers, and semiconductor projects.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate field safety programs, site inspections, audits, orientations, safety meetings, and committee activities.
• Identify hazards, document corrective actions, track abatement, and monitor contractor and subcontractor safety performance.
• Support accident investigations, injury follow-up, safety incentives, insurance audits, and controlled insurance program projects.
• Use safety systems to analyze trends and recommend measures to prevent recurring incidents.
• Provide safety guidance and training to project and safety personnel, including support for training plans and delivery.

Required Experience

• At least five years of construction safety experience.
• Bachelor's degree in a safety or health-related discipline preferred; equivalent relevant experience may be considered.
• Advanced communication and safety software capabilities, intermediate MS Office and construction technology proficiency, and knowledge of applicable safety regulations and environmental testing protocols.
• Valid, unrestricted driver's license required.
