Senior Superintendent - Pipe - Heavy Civil

Job Summary

Garney is seeking a Senior Superintendent to direct field operations for complex heavy civil pipe and infrastructure construction in Nashville. This leader will oversee multiple teams and ensure safe, timely, and specification-compliant project delivery.

Project Details

The position supports large-scale civil and infrastructure work involving pipe construction, field coordination, inspections, equipment, materials, and jobsite logistics.

Responsibilities

• Direct on-site crews, subcontractors, schedules, logistics, and daily execution.
• Maintain site safety, quality, documentation, manpower records, and issue tracking.
• Lead site meetings, safety briefings, inspections, and coordination with project managers, engineers, clients, and inspectors.
• Identify schedule conflicts, resolve field issues, and support approvals and project progress.
• Coach foremen, superintendents, and developing field personnel.

Required Experience

• At least 10 years of field construction supervision experience.
• At least 5 years as a superintendent on large civil, infrastructure, or building projects.
• OSHA 30 certification.
• Strong knowledge of construction methods, sequencing, drawings, specifications, schedules, and field technology.
• Willingness to travel and/or relocate.
