Service Project Manager

Job Summary

Oversee modular equipment service projects from production handoff through installation, completion, precommissioning, and customer acceptance. Coordinate project resources, schedule, budget, and client communication.

Project Details

TAS designs and manufactures packaged modular systems for data centers, power, and commercial and industrial utility applications. The position is primarily site-based, with work in the office and production areas as well as at customer sites.

Responsibilities

• Plan project turnover and coordinate scope, materials, shipping deviations, labor, and site resources.
• Manage site activities through installation and completion, and support commissioning labor scheduling.
• Coordinate with production, engineering, purchasing, quality, project management, suppliers, clients, and contractors.
• Attend site progress, pull-planning, and commissioning meetings; resolve BIM issues and customer concerns.
• Plan and budget site remediation, ensure required site safety training is complete, and provide weekly project site updates.

Required Experience

• Experience as a Field Engineer in modular construction or a successful Assistant Service Project Manager.
• Site or Project Manager experience, preferably in service or maintenance.
• Bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering, or a related field, or equivalent modular equipment installation experience.
• Strong leadership, communication, organization, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to travel to job sites and occasionally move materials weighing up to 50 pounds. Steel-toe boots and safety glasses are required in shop areas and at jobsites.
