Job Summary

JE Dunn is seeking a Senior Safety Specialist in Social Circle to lead field safety efforts for complex industrial and manufacturing construction projects within its Advanced Facilities Group.

Project Details

The Advanced Facilities Group delivers industrial and manufacturing, data center, and semiconductor projects for innovative clients across the country. This role may support one large project or multiple projects and includes controlled insurance program work.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate field safety programs, site inspections, audits, orientations, safety meetings, and committee activities.
• Identify hazardous conditions, document findings, recommend corrective actions, and track abatement through company systems.
• Monitor contractor and subcontractor safety programs and support compliance with applicable regulations and company policies.
• Assist with accident investigations, injury follow-up, insurance audits, safety metrics, and trend analysis.
• Provide safety guidance and training while helping develop training strategies and delivery methods.

Required Experience

• At least five years of construction safety experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in safety, health, or a related field preferred; equivalent relevant experience may be considered.
• Advanced communication skills and proficiency with safety management software and tools.
• Knowledge of construction equipment, work processes, environmental hazard testing, and federal, state, local, and company safety requirements.
• Valid and unrestricted driver’s license required.
