Sr Project Engineer (Automotive Project) Spring Hill, TN

Job Summary

Barton Malow is hiring a Senior Project Engineer to support an automotive construction project in Spring Hill, Tennessee. This role coordinates technical information, documentation, project communication, and field engineering activities across the project team, design partners, and owner.

Project Details

The position supports a large, complex automotive construction project requiring disciplined schedule coordination, site planning, design approvals, and rapid issue resolution.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical assistance, track project issues, and maintain document control.
• Process submittals and RFIs, document meetings, and help maintain the project schedule.
• Support procurement activities, bidder communications, quotation reviews, and change orders.
• Assist with site logistics and coordinate plan reviews and approvals with municipal and state authorities.
• Apply company safety requirements and provide guidance to junior project engineers and interns.

Required Experience

• Four-year degree in engineering, construction management, or a related discipline.
• At least five years of relevant professional experience or equivalent construction internship experience.
• Industrial or automotive construction experience is preferred.
• OSHA 30 certification is preferred.
• Strong organization, attention to detail, independent problem-solving, initiative, and commitment to safety.
