Job Summary

JE Dunn is seeking a Superintendent 1 in Mesa to support the planning, coordination, and field execution of mission-critical construction projects within its Advanced Facilities Group.

Project Details

The Advanced Facilities Group delivers large-scale data center, semiconductor, advanced-industry, and industrial manufacturing projects. This role supports project teams with site operations, workforce coordination, safety, quality, scheduling, and closeout activities.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, company staff, materials, equipment, and site logistics.
  • Develop and adjust work plans, schedules, staffing plans, and self-perform activities with project leadership.
  • Lead daily and weekly coordination meetings and participate in owner, architect, and project review meetings.
  • Maintain project records, drawings, logs, inspection documentation, daily reports, and cost information.
  • Promote jobsite safety, investigate incidents, support quality assurance, and oversee compliance with project requirements.
  • Support procurement, change management, buyout, budget tracking, closeout, and pre-punch activities.
  • Help recruit field talent and foster an inclusive, collaborative project culture.

Required Experience

  • At least 3 years of construction experience and 1 year of field supervision experience.
  • High school diploma or GED required; a construction management, engineering, or related bachelor's degree is preferred.
  • Working knowledge of construction means and methods, project processes, scheduling, project management software, accounting systems, and construction technology.
  • Intermediate capability in communication, presentations, trade and self-perform operations, layout, crane flagging, and rigging.
  • Ability to manage schedules and budgets, interpret document changes, apply Lean practices, and collaborate with project stakeholders.
  • Ability to lift at least 50 pounds and perform frequent standing, walking, climbing, bending, reaching, pushing, and pulling.
