Superintendent 1, Mission Critical

Job Summary

JE Dunn Construction is hiring a Superintendent 1 for its Advanced Facilities Group, focused on Mission Critical projects including data centers, semiconductor fabs, and industrial manufacturing facilities. This role plans, manages, and executes all aspects of assigned field operations.

Work is performed through JE Dunn's Advanced Facilities Group, which specializes in large-scale data center, semiconductor, and industrial and manufacturing construction projects across the country.

Responsibilities

• Lead and champion jobsite safety culture, investigate incidents, and retrain staff as needed.
• Manage subcontractors, suppliers, and self-perform crews across safety, quality, and EEO programs.
• Develop and implement work plans, project schedules, and daily/weekly reporting.
• Coordinate site logistics, material and equipment needs, and the project closeout process.
• Partner with project management on budget tracking, cost reporting, and change management.
• Lead daily standup and weekly trade meetings; participate in OAC and project review meetings.
• Support procurement, timecard approval, and field staffing in coordination with field leadership.

Required Experience

• 3+ years of construction experience with at least 1 year in a field supervision role.
• High school diploma or GED required; bachelor's degree in construction management or engineering preferred.
• Intermediate proficiency in MS Office, scheduling software, and project management/accounting platforms.
• Working knowledge of construction means and methods, crane flagging, rigging, and Lean principles.
• Willingness to work non-traditional hours and travel or relocate as project needs require.
