Superintendent 2

Job Summary

JE Dunn is seeking a Superintendent 2 to manage and execute moderately complex construction projects within its Advanced Facilities Group. The role oversees field operations from planning through closeout while supporting safe, timely, high-quality, and profitable project delivery.

Project Details

The Advanced Facilities Group delivers large industrial and manufacturing, data center, semiconductor, mission-critical, and advanced-industry projects across the country.

Responsibilities

• Manage subcontractors, suppliers, company staff, site logistics, materials, equipment, and workflow.
• Lead safety, quality, daily coordination, trade, owner, architect, and project review meetings.
• Develop and maintain project schedules in coordination with the Project Manager.
• Oversee documentation, daily reports, cost tracking, timecard approvals, drawings, logs, and inspections.
• Coordinate self-perform work, procurement, staffing, quality compliance, change management, and project closeout.
• Identify project risks, recommend solutions, and manage production, safety, schedule, and quality from start to finish.
• Support project pursuits, buyout meetings, contract administration, and recruiting while promoting an inclusive field culture.

Required Experience

• High school diploma or GED required; a bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, or a related field is preferred.
• At least 5 years of construction experience, including 3 or more years of field supervision.
• Working knowledge of construction means and methods, scheduling, project management and accounting software, construction technology, Lean practices, trade scopes, self-perform productivity, layout, crane flagging, and rigging.
• Intermediate communication, presentation, collaboration, documentation, budget, and project risk management skills.
• Valid and unrestricted driver's license required.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and work in varying weather conditions and non-traditional hours.
