Superintendent 2 Electrical, Mission Critical

Job Summary

JE Dunn Construction is seeking a Superintendent 2 – Electrical for its Advanced Facilities Group, focused on mission critical construction including data centers, semiconductor fabs, and large industrial and manufacturing facilities. This mid-level superintendent role carries direct responsibility for field execution, safety leadership, subcontractor management, and schedule compliance on complex electrical scopes.

Responsibilities

• Lead all aspects of jobsite safety culture and mentor field staff toward an injury-free environment.
• Manage subcontractors, suppliers, and self-perform crews across assigned scopes of work.
• Create, update, and implement project schedules in coordination with the Project Manager.
• Run daily standups, weekly trade meetings, and participate in OAC progress meetings.
• Monitor project costs using the project management system and support budget reporting.
• Oversee quality compliance through QA/QC processes, specifications, and pre-punch activities.
• Coordinate material and equipment procurement and manage the timecard approval process.
• Identify and actively manage project risks; recommend solutions to the project team.
• Support project closeout and coordinate with owners, architects, and governing authorities.

Required Experience

• 5+ years of construction experience with at least 3+ years in field supervision.
• High School Diploma or GED required; Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, or related field preferred.
• Proficiency in MS Office, project management/accounting software, and scheduling software.
• Ability to apply Lean construction principles (preferred).
• Knowledge of crane flagging, rigging, and construction means and methods.
• Valid and unrestricted driver's license required.
• Must be willing to work non-traditional hours to meet project needs.
