Superintendent

Job Summary

Garney Construction is seeking an experienced Superintendent to lead field operations on construction projects. This role requires progressive supervisory experience and a willingness to travel.

Responsibilities

• Champion jobsite safety and set clear site safety expectations.
• Develop 6-week look-ahead schedules and track overall project progress.
• Coordinate closely with project management staff.
• Monitor job costs and manage labor quantities.
• Complete daily and periodic field reports.
• Oversee quality control on site.
• Manage subcontractor performance.
• Train craft workers and mentor field engineers.

Required Experience

• 10+ years of progressive experience in the construction industry.
• Must be willing to travel to project locations.
