Job Summary

PCL Construction Services, Inc. is seeking a Superintendent in Minneapolis to lead field operations, coordinate project teams and trades, and support safe, high-quality infrastructure construction.

Project Details

This role supports infrastructure projects serving the Minneapolis community and involves coordination with clients, consultants, subcontractors, labor partners, and internal teams.

Responsibilities

• Implement site safety procedures and ensure compliance with safety, environmental, quality, and documentation requirements.
• Supervise, coach, train, and mentor project personnel while coordinating own forces and trade contractors.
• Develop and manage project execution plans, critical-path schedules, resource-loaded three-week lookaheads, budgets, and forecasts.
• Coordinate field engineers, estimators, subcontractors, clients, consultants, and labor representatives.
• Identify constructability concerns, schedule conflicts, contract risks, and opportunities, and develop effective responses.
• Lead site and client meetings, maintain stakeholder relationships, and support project administration.

Required Experience

• Journeyman certificate or undergraduate degree in an engineering or related discipline.
• Five years of progressive field supervision experience preferred, including successful construction workforce supervision.
• Strong knowledge of construction materials, specifications, methods, project operations, contracts, safety, and environmental requirements.
• Ability to prepare schedules, coordinate multiple scopes, interpret labor and cost reports, and complete material, labor, and equipment takeoffs.
• Demonstrated conflict resolution, problem-solving, presentation, stakeholder management, and professional judgment skills.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and internal operational systems.

Compensation and Benefits

The estimated base salary is $98,000-$116,000, depending on experience and qualifications.
