Superintendent - Aviation

Lead field supervision for aviation construction projects, coordinating the work and people needed to complete projects successfully.

Responsibilities

• Plan and maintain project schedules, coordinate field teams and subcontractors, and oversee materials and equipment needs.
• Promote safe work practices, verify subcontractor insurance, and uphold quality standards.
• Review drawings, specifications, and submittals; lead subcontractor meetings and maintain project reports.
• Manage punch lists, testing, turnover, and final closeout with the owner.
• Travel as directed and oversee multiple projects across a broad geographic area when needed.

Required Experience

• Degree in engineering, construction management, or architecture, or equivalent experience including four years as an Assistant Superintendent.
• Extensive supervisory field construction experience and working knowledge of construction trades.
• Prior foreman or journeyman experience in at least one trade, or project engineering experience.
• Current Safety Trained Supervisor (STS) certification, or obtain it within six months of hire and maintain active status.
• Knowledge of OSHA requirements, scheduling, planning, expediting, and cost control.

Compensation and Benefits
