Traveling Equipment Superintendent Kiewit Equipment Services

Job Summary

Kiewit Equipment Services is seeking a Traveling Equipment Superintendent to lead equipment maintenance, readiness, utilization, and field support for construction projects throughout the United States.

Responsibilities

• Direct equipment maintenance and readiness activities to meet project requirements.
• Promote safe, high-quality work through field leadership and supervision.
• Track equipment costs, maintenance, and utilization using company data systems.
• Prepare equipment recap reports for senior management.
• Train, coach, develop, and retain direct and indirect team members.
• Coordinate work across district teams, joint ventures, and project personnel.

Required Experience

• Degree in mechanical engineering, construction management, or comparable construction-related experience.
• At least five years of experience in a mechanical-related field.
• Knowledge of construction safety requirements and engineering and construction methods.
• Strong organizational, time management, communication, and computer skills.
• Willingness to travel frequently, including on short notice, and work overtime or weekends when required.

Compensation and Benefits

Base compensation is $98,000-$120,000 per year. Full-time employees receive medical, dental, vision, wellness, employee assistance, life and disability insurance, retirement plans with matching, and paid time off.
