Job Summary

Garney is seeking a Traveling Safety Manager to support field safety operations on water and sewer pipeline construction projects based in Nashville, Tennessee.

Project Details

The position serves civil infrastructure projects involving water and sewer pipeline work and requires travel and/or relocation.

Responsibilities

  • Help project leaders and field teams apply applicable safety requirements and standards.
  • Deliver safety instruction to construction personnel.
  • Perform routine site reviews, document hazards, and coordinate corrective actions.
  • Investigate accidents and other job-site incidents.

Required Experience

  • A degree in civil, mechanical, or construction engineering, construction management, or a related safety discipline is preferred.
  • OSHA 30 Construction certification is required.
  • Applicants must hold or obtain CHST certification within six months of hire.
  • English/Spanish bilingual ability is preferred.
