Assistant Superintendent - St. Louis, MO

Job Summary

Barton Malow is seeking an Assistant Superintendent in St. Louis to help lead commercial construction field operations and build toward a future lead superintendent role.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate trade partners, sequence field activities, and help maintain efficient workflow.
• Support jobsite safety, quality control, scheduling, punchlist completion, and compliance with project plans.
• Track daily progress, deliveries, field issues, materials, and equipment through accurate documentation.
• Participate in coordination meetings and help resolve field issues with trade partners, vendors, and the project team.

Required Experience

• At least two years of commercial construction field experience.
• Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, or a related field, or equivalent field experience.
• Working knowledge of construction methods, scheduling, and quality control.
• Strong communication, organization, and time management skills.
• OSHA 30 certification preferred.
• Willingness to work on site in a fast-paced construction environment.
