Self- Perform Project Manager (New Albany, OH)

Job Summary

Barton Malow Company is seeking a Self-Perform Project Manager to lead union construction work in New Albany, Ohio, from project setup through closeout. This role owns project delivery across safety, schedule, budget, quality, and client relationships.

Project Details

Barton Malow uses an integrated self-perform model with directly employed craft professionals supporting civil, concrete, steel, equipment setting, general trades, and maintenance work. The company serves automotive, power, energy, industrial, and infrastructure markets.

Responsibilities

• Develop schedules, site logistics plans, constructability reviews, and mobilization procedures.
• Lead jobsite safety planning, field coordination, labor relations, equipment coordination, quality verification, and punch list completion.
• Manage general conditions, project costs, non-reimbursable spending, change orders, lien requirements, and bonding reports.
• Coordinate project meetings, mentor jobsite staff, oversee RFIs and submittals, and manage subcontractor and owner issues.
• Lead contract closeout, project acceptance, and project records archiving.

Required Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management or equivalent experience.
• At least five years of construction or architecture industry experience.
• Self-perform construction or union trades experience preferred.
