Job Summary
Black & Veatch is seeking an Associate Overhead Transmission Line Engineer to support increasingly complex engineering assignments under general supervision. Work focuses on overhead electric transmission line engineering and related infrastructure design assignments.
Responsibilities
- Prepare engineering deliverables, calculations, research, recommendations, and project data.
- Apply engineering standards, codes, design guides, quality procedures, and company policies.
- Manage assigned work within budget, schedule, and quality expectations.
- Coordinate with project leadership, internal and external team members, clients, and other disciplines.
- Support continuous improvement, business development, mentoring, and development of entry-level professionals and interns.
Required Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering from an accredited program.
- At least one year of related work experience.
- Ability to complete applicable pre-employment screening and onboarding requirements.
Compensation and Benefits
The listed Colorado annual compensation range is $91,047-$152,053, with final pay based on qualifications, experience, location, and other permitted factors. Benefits include medical, dental, vision, disability coverage, wellness resources, paid time off, flexible schedules, a company-matched 401(k), tuition and adoption reimbursement, and employee stock ownership through the 100% ESOP structure. Relocation is eligible.
