BMC Sr Project Manager (Thermal)

Job Summary

Barton Malow is seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead its growing thermal energy portfolio. This role oversees the full project lifecycle — from preconstruction coordination through closeout — managing budgets, schedules, trade partners, and client relationships.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate coordination meetings with project teams from preconstruction through closeout.
• Oversee procurement, bidding strategy, work scope development, and bid evaluation.
• Lead project schedule development, site mobilization, and permit management.
• Manage general conditions budget, cash flow analysis, and ongoing cost monitoring.
• Support the General Superintendent with owner issues and subcontractor communications.
• Administer financial aspects of owner contracts, subcontracts, and purchase orders.
• Coordinate internal staff and monitor compliance with schedule requirements.
• Build and maintain strong client and team relationships throughout project delivery.

Required Experience

• Bachelor's degree in construction management or engineering.
• 15+ years of relevant project management experience.
• H-Class and/or large-class thermal energy project experience required.
• Strong understanding of contracts, legal provisions, and trade partner management.
• Proven ability to manage competing priorities and adapt to changing project conditions.
