Civil Field Engineer - Primoris Energy Services

Job Summary

Primoris Energy Services is seeking a Civil Field Engineer to provide technical and planning support for construction teams. The role helps resolve field issues and coordinates work packaging and progress updates.

Project Details

Work supports industrial construction and EPC projects across sectors that include power generation, refining, gas processing, chemical and petrochemical, hydrogen, mining, and pulp and paper.

Responsibilities

• Support field execution through technical guidance, site inspections, schedule awareness, and work package coordination.
• Prepare and track RFIs, and assess their effects on scope, schedule, and cost.
• Review specifications, standards, drawings, and submittals; maintain project records and monitor document status.
• Report project progress, schedule, staffing, safety concerns, and open issues.
• Coordinate with project managers, contractors, and other stakeholders, and support quality and safety compliance.

Required Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or relevant equivalent experience.
• Three to five years of field engineering experience, preferably in power generation, petrochemical, or similar industrial construction.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and a strong understanding of construction and engineering principles.
• Clear communication, analytical, problem-solving, and collaboration skills.
• Willingness to travel to project sites as required.
