Job Summary
Lead concrete finishing crews in Charlotte, coordinating work and maintaining quality and safety standards across assigned job sites.
Responsibilities
- Review plans and estimate crew, material, equipment, and supply needs.
- Set work schedules, assign crew tasks, and maintain operating records and time entries.
- Prepare pour areas, calculate concrete quantities, and check reinforcement, block-outs, and sleeves during pours.
- Manage concrete finishing, curing, and weather protection, while keeping tools and work areas in good condition.
- Mentor crew members, monitor performance, and resolve potential job-site issues proactively.
Required Experience
- At least 3–5 years as a cement-finisher foreman or in a similar role.
- Knowledge of sealers, hardeners, curing methods, concrete slump, and mix selection.
- Basic computer skills, mathematical ability, and physical capacity for demanding work, including lifting 50–100 pounds.
- Ability to work at heights and in varied weather while following OSHA and company safety procedures.
