UG Foreman

Job Summary

Lead field crews performing underground utility construction, maintenance, and repair while supporting safe, efficient, and high-quality project delivery.

Project Details

Work includes underground gas, water, sewer, and telecommunications utility systems.

Responsibilities

• Direct crew assignments, equipment, and materials and track daily progress toward project schedules.
• Review plans and specifications, coordinate with project stakeholders, and resolve field issues.
• Promote safe work practices through briefings and inspections, and verify installation quality.
• Operate construction equipment as needed, maintain job records and inventory, and train crew members.

Required Experience

• High school diploma or GED.
• At least five years of underground utility construction experience, including two years in a foreman or supervisory role.
• Ability to interpret construction plans and knowledge of underground utility methods, equipment, and safety procedures.
• Heavy equipment operating experience and a valid driver's license with a clean record; CDL preferred.
• OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification preferred.
