Construction QA/QC Superintendent

Job Summary

JE Dunn is seeking a Construction QA/QC Superintendent in Houston to oversee field execution, quality compliance, safety, scheduling, and production on projects of moderate complexity.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, company crews, materials, equipment, and site logistics.
• Develop work plans, manage workflow, lead trade and project meetings, and maintain project schedules with the Project Manager.
• Direct safety, quality, documentation, reporting, cost tracking, and project closeout activities.
• Monitor project risks, changes, staffing, procurement, productivity, and deliverables from internal and external resources.
• Coordinate quality standards, in-house QA/QC, inspections, pre-punch work, and owner-facing closeout activities.
• Communicate with owners, architects, design teams, authorities, subcontractors, and suppliers.

Required Experience

• High school diploma or GED required; a construction management, engineering, or related bachelor's degree is preferred.
• At least 5 years of construction experience and 3 years of field supervision experience.
• Working knowledge of construction methods, scheduling, project management software, accounting systems, document control, layout, rigging, and crane flagging.
• Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Office, scheduling software, construction technology, project management systems, and Lean principles.
• Valid and unrestricted driver's license required.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and work in varying weather conditions and non-traditional hours.

Compensation and Benefits
