Senior Project Engineer

Job Summary

JE Dunn is hiring a Senior Project Engineer to manage a small project or oversee a defined portion of a larger project, supporting project administration, field execution, and delivery in Denver.

Responsibilities

• Lead estimates, scope development, subcontractor and vendor selection, purchasing, and submittal coordination.
• Prepare and manage schedules, track production, and report project progress and risks.
• Coordinate project meetings, review subcontractor and vendor pay applications, and support project financial and resource management.
• Oversee quality, safety, inspections, punch lists, and closeout for assigned scopes.
• Support project setup and administration using CMiC and other company systems.
• Train and mentor colleagues and collaborate with project teams and trade partners.

Required Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering, or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience.
• At least 3 years of construction experience.
• Proficiency in MS Office, project management and accounting software, and relevant construction technology.
• Knowledge of construction methods, project processes, Lean practices, self-perform work, and labor productivity.
• Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds and work non-traditional hours as project needs require.

Compensation and Benefits

Base compensation is $88,000–$111,000, depending on experience, with potential for a higher offer based on exceptional experience and performance. The role is eligible for a target bonus based on individual and company performance. Professional Non-Union benefits apply.
