Job Summary

JE Dunn is seeking a Traveling Field Engineer 2 to support field execution and crew coordination on advanced-industry construction work. The initial assignment is in Essex Junction, Vermont.

Project Details

The role is part of JE Dunn’s Advanced Facilities Group and supports semiconductor construction projects.

Responsibilities

• Perform and coordinate self-perform work, plan crew tasks, and report progress to supervisors.
• Support site safety, quality, cost control, inspections, and project documentation.
• Assist the superintendent with crew coordination, contractor coordination, lookahead schedules, and work planning.
• Contribute to Lean construction practices and sequencing across trades.

Required Experience

• At least two years of construction experience.
• Construction supervision experience of up to two years is preferred.
• Proficiency with MS Office and required construction technology; knowledge of construction methods, rigging, crane flagging, Lean practices, and labor productivity.
• A bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering, or a related field is preferred; equivalent relevant experience may be considered.

Compensation and Benefits

Base salary is $84,000-$104,000, depending on experience, with eligibility for a target bonus tied to individual and company performance.
