Traveling Project Engineer, Advanced Industries (Semiconductor)

Job Summary

JE Dunn is hiring a traveling Project Engineer 2 to support construction planning and field execution, beginning with an assignment in Essex Junction, Vermont.

Project Details

The role is part of the Advanced Facilities Group and supports semiconductor and other advanced-industry construction projects.

Responsibilities

• Support safety, quality, estimating, scheduling, cost control, and project administration.
• Coordinate field activities, subcontractor scopes, procurement tracking, project documentation, and closeout tasks.
• Prepare reports and schedule updates, monitor labor and materials, and communicate progress to project leadership.
• Participate in project meetings, inspections, punch lists, and crew planning.

Required Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering, or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience.
• At least two years of construction experience.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and familiarity with construction technology, construction management fundamentals, and Lean practices.

Compensation and Benefits

Base salary is $83,000-$104,000, depending on experience, with potential for a target bonus based on individual and company performance. The position is aligned with the Professional Non-Union benefits package.
