Job Summary

JE Dunn is hiring a Traveling Superintendent 3 to lead moderately complex construction projects, with the initial assignment in Essex Junction, Vermont. The role oversees field teams and coordinates project execution from planning through closeout.

Project Details

The position is part of the Advanced Facilities Group and focuses on advanced industries, including semiconductor construction. The initial project assignment is in Essex Junction, Vermont.

Responsibilities

• Direct subcontractors, field staff, site logistics, construction sequencing, safety, quality, and production.
• Develop and maintain project schedules, coordinate work plans, and communicate with owners, designers, suppliers, and project teams.
• Monitor project risks, changes, costs, documentation, and progress; support procurement, project reviews, and closeout.
• Lead field meetings, develop staffing plans, and help cultivate client relationships and future work.

Required Experience

• At least 8 years of construction experience and 5 years of field supervision experience.
• High school diploma or GED required; a bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, or a related field is preferred.
• Working knowledge of construction management, scheduling, project management software, and construction technology.
• Valid, unrestricted driver's license; must be able to lift 50 pounds and work non-traditional hours as project needs require.
• Lean experience is preferred.

Compensation and Benefits

Base salary is $140,000-$175,000, depending on experience, with a target bonus based on individual and company performance. The benefits package is Professional Non-Union.
