Assistant Superintendent

Job Summary

Support the Project Superintendent in delivering safe, timely, and high-quality commercial construction work. The role may oversee a project segment and guide engineers or interns.

Responsibilities

• Help develop project schedules, cost structures, procurement documents, and responsibility assignments.
• Support staff training, project administration, job-cost tracking, labor analysis, and financial reporting.
• Coordinate owner payment applications and review change proposals, change orders, and claims.
• Implement safety, equal employment, and affirmative action programs and support on-site quality management.
• Lead project closeout preparation and execution.

Required Experience

• At least four years of construction project experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management or Engineering, or equivalent work experience.
• Knowledge of construction principles and processes, including self-perform work.
• Experience building owner relationships and managing field staff.
• Demonstrated commitment to safety.
