Job Summary

Interstates is seeking an Electrical Foreman to lead industrial electrical crews in the Des Moines area. The role combines hands-on field work with crew leadership, project coordination, and a strong focus on safety.

Project Details

Work involves industrial electrical projects in and around Des Moines, with travel within a 200-mile radius.

Responsibilities

• Lead and motivate crews of 3–15 people, working hands-on in the field when needed.
• Coordinate project cost, schedule, productivity, planning, and resource use.
• Promote safe work practices and actively participate in the company safety program.
• Communicate with client representatives and allied trades, and build productive working relationships.
• Coach and mentor crew members while supporting their development.
• Understand project plans and guide field layout and execution.

Required Experience

• Experience on industrial electrical projects and prior crew leadership experience.
• State-issued journeyman electrician license or equivalent.
• Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license.
• Ability to work at heights and in confined spaces, and in outdoor conditions that may include dust and electrical hazards.
