Engineering Manager- Advanced Process & LNG Solution

Job Summary

Black & Veatch is seeking an Engineering Manager to provide technical leadership and supervise engineering staff supporting advanced process and LNG solutions. This full-time role is based in Overland Park, Kansas, with hybrid or flexible work options potentially available after the first 90 days.

Project Details

The team supports complex projects in LNG, oil and gas, fertilizer, petrochemical, and sustainable process industries, including large and multi-discipline engineering assignments.

Responsibilities

• Lead engineering teams and provide guidance on standards, codes, design practices, quality, and risk management.
• Prepare and review complex engineering deliverables, calculations, equipment evaluations, schedules, budgets, and work plans.
• Coordinate multi-discipline project activities and communicate client priorities to project teams.
• Support business development, client pursuits, technical solutions, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Manage employee performance, development, staffing, hiring, and related supervisory responsibilities.

Required Experience

• Bachelor's degree in engineering from an accredited program or equivalent engineering experience.
• At least 11 years of related professional experience.
• Active engineering registration or licensure to support engineer-of-record requirements where applicable.
• Experience with LNG, oil and gas, fertilizer, petrochemical, or sustainable process industries.
• Ability to complete applicable pre-employment background, drug-screen, and motor vehicle record requirements.
