Field Engineer

Job Summary

Hawkins Construction Company is hiring a Field Engineer to support project managers and superintendents with day-to-day field operations in Omaha, Nebraska.

Responsibilities

• Help maintain drawing updates, change orders, and submittals.
• Track project labor and equipment and assist with field coordination and documentation.
• Provide administrative project support and help with basic site labor as needed.

Required Experience

• Associate’s or bachelor’s degree in construction management or a related field.
• One to three years of experience in a Field Engineer or similar position.
• Familiarity with construction management software and ability to interpret construction drawings and specifications.
• Strong communication, teamwork, adaptability, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to perform outdoor work in varied weather, including lifting materials and climbing ladders or scaffolds.
