General Foreman- Grand Prairie

Job Summary

Granite Construction is seeking a General Foreman to lead a trade crew in Grand Prairie, coordinate daily work, and keep assignments progressing safely and efficiently.

Responsibilities

• Organize daily priorities and adjust assignments for changing conditions, staffing, or deliveries.
• Delegate work, develop crew members, and provide the resources needed to meet schedules and safety requirements.
• Promote safe equipment use, manage budgets and quality expectations, and address worksite conflicts.
• Communicate project status to supervisors, engineers, inspectors, and other stakeholders.

Required Experience

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent experience.
• Appropriate training and experience for the role.
• Ability to interpret construction methods, contracts, and technical drawings and to meet physical demands including lifting up to 50 pounds.
